Who I am

My name is Bishoy, born Egyptian, raised in Kuwait. The arts have been an essential part of my life since I was five.

In high school I discovered a passion for rock and metal music. Hearing the sound of an electric guitar felt like a missing piece from my life that I finally found.

I studied Arts in college and have been a freelance artist for the past 5 years.

After painting a friend's guitar, I got hooked on the customization process. I saw the art customization space being too straightforward and uninteresting. This urged me to create unique and personalized looks.

What I do

Mr. Bee is my passion project.

This website is my way of addressing a concern I saw in the art customization realm. This concern is twofold. First, the designs are not diverse, there's a lot of repetition between designs. I found that limiting. And second, I saw little care being put into the uniqueness of the designs. Designs lack personality.

All the designs I create and offer here solve one or both of those concerns. I want to create designs that tell a story, or compel an emotion.
